Join us for a beautiful evening walk across The Begwns, an open moorland area cared for by the National Trust, just north of Hay-on-Wye. With sweeping 360-degree views, this gentle circular route offers some of the best panoramas of the Brecon Beacons National Park, from the distant Black Mountains to the rolling Beacons range—all with none of the steep climbs!
Led by a professional walk leader, this 2-hour, relaxed walk is perfect for both locals and visitors looking to enjoy the golden evening light over this stunning National Trust landscape. Along the way, we’ll take time to appreciate the wildlife and nature of the moorland, home to skylarks, waterfowl, and grazing sheep.
Afterward, you're welcome to bring a packed supper and join the group for an informal picnic at the end.
