About the event
Kickstart your New Year with Step Into Wellness, a 6-week walking course designed to enhance both your fitness and mental well-being through the beautiful countryside around Hay-on-Wye. Each Saturday morning from January 18th to February 22nd, join us for an invigorating circular walk lasting a couple of hours, perfect for all fitness levels.
Led by Sarah Price, this course gradually adapts routes and terrain to improve your cardiovascular health and walking stamina week by week. If you're a bit uncertain about your fitness but eager to start walking, this friendly and supportive group is ideal.
During the winter months, it's more important than ever to get outside. Exposure to daylight helps your body produce vitamin D and can improve your mood, reducing the risk of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). This course is a perfect way to make the most of the daylight hours while boosting your physical and mental health.
