About the event
Join us in the charming village of Llangattock Lingoed for a 7.5-mile guided walk showcasing some of Monmouthshire’s most captivating landscapes and historic sites. We’ll set off along the beautiful Offa’s Dyke Path, reaching the stunning White Castle halfway through the route. The best-preserved of Monmouthshire’s “Three Castles,” White Castle was transformed over centuries into a striking stone fortress—possibly named for the white rendering that once covered its walls. After an afternoon of adventure and breathtaking views, we’ll finish at the 13th-century village pub, The Half Moon, where walkers are invited to stay for an optional supper together. Perfect for history lovers and those looking for a scenic, sociable walk!
