About the event
A guided walk which starts with far reaching views from moorland over the Black Mountains and the Radnorshire hills & valleys above Painscastle, we then drop down to reach the beautiful river Edw which feeds into the mighty river Wye, and then we climb again up onto the moorland to return to the start point.
A challenging walk with climbs, flat moorland paths, fields and tracks to keep us busy! Well worth the effort though, as a stunning setting with hopefully views to wow!
If you are of a reasonable fitness level and walk in the countryside semi regularly, you will be capable of completing this walk, but if you are unsure, please message me, particularly if you have walked with me before and I will be able to advise you.
If you have been walking with me regularly and now would like to walk a bit further perhaps, then this walk is for you!
It's 10.5-11 miles in lenght but we will take it at an easy pace with stops for looking at the views & lunch etc.
