About the event
Join us for a friendly, hands-on workshop designed for women who want to feel more independent when walking in the countryside. In the morning, we’ll demystify map reading, navigation, and essential hiking skills—including how to prepare for a walk, what to take, and how safe it really is for women in the great outdoors.
After lunch, we’ll head outside to practice our new skills on the beautiful footpaths and bridleways around Llangorse Lake, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. The walk will be gentle and relaxed, with plenty of time to get to grips with map reading in a supportive environment.
