About the event

Join a professional guide on this exhilarating 11-mile circular walk, beginning in the historic village of Clun in Shropshire. This challenging route, featuring the iconic Offa’s Dyke Path and a segment of the Shropshire Way, offers spectacular 360-degree views over the Shropshire countryside. Walkers will be rewarded with the sight of King Offa’s ancient 8th-century dyke—a marvel of medieval earthwork—and may even find themselves walking directly on it. After exploring the scenic ruins of Clun Castle, the route takes on steep hills, famous for being among the toughest on the Offa’s Dyke Path, and promises a full day of history, heritage, and breathtaking landscapes.

This walk will be a true challenge, yet we’ll take it at a steady, manageable pace. Participants should be prepared for a full day’s journey and will need at least an average level of fitness and stamina to enjoy this rewarding adventure.
